What it is

Tridecyl trimellitate is the triester of trimellitic acid (benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid) with tridecyl alcohol. CosIng lists it as emollient and skin conditioning.

Where it is used

Found in lipsticks, lip glosses, foundations and creams, where it adds a rich, cushioning feel.
