A synthetic copolymer used as a film former and hair fixative.
What it is
Vinyl caprolactam/VP/dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate copolymer is a polymer of vinyl caprolactam, vinylpyrrolidone (VP) and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate. CosIng lists it as a film-forming, hair-fixing and skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found mainly in hair styling products such as gels, mousses and sprays.
