Wat het is
Butyloctanol is een vertakte C12-alcohol (2-butyloctaan-1-ol), een Guerbet-alcohol die bij kamertemperatuur vloeibaar is. CosIng vermeldt het als vochtinbrengend middel en oplosmiddel.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Gebruikt in crèmes, zonneproducten, make-up en haarverzorging.
