Wat het is
C13-15 alkane is een mengsel van verzadigde koolwaterstoffen met 13 tot 15 koolstofatomen. CosIng vermeldt het als oplosmiddel.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Wordt gebruikt in crèmes, serums, make-up en haarverzorging als licht, goed uitstrijkbaar ingrediënt, soms in plaats van vluchtige siliconen.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in aflopende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De INCI-naam verraadt niet of de koolwaterstoffen uit aardolie of uit plantaardige grondstoffen komen.
