Wat het is
Isotridecyl isononanoate is de ester van isotridecylalcohol en isononaanzuur (3,5,5-trimethylhexaanzuur), een vertakte olieachtige vloeistof. CosIng vermeldt het als verzachtend en huidverzorgend ingrediënt.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Komt voor in crèmes, lotions, zonnebrandproducten, make-up en haarverzorgingsproducten.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% staan de ingrediënten in aflopende volgorde van gewicht; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
Isotridecylalcohol is een mengsel van vertakte isomeren, dus de grondstof is geen enkelvoudige, welomschreven verbinding.
