Wat het is
Toluene-2,5-diamine sulfate is het sulfaatzout van tolueen-2,5-diamine (2-methyl-p-fenyleendiamine). In oxidatieve haarverf reageert het met een oxidatiemiddel en koppelaars om de kleur in het haar te vormen. CosIng vermeldt als functie haarkleurmiddel.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Komt voor in permanente en sommige semipermanente oxidatieve haarverf.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in aflopende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
Het staat in bijlage III van Verordening (EG) nr. 1223/2009; zie het onderdeel over EU-regelgeving voor de geldende limieten. Het etiket toont niet de werkelijk gebruikte concentratie.
