Vad det är
Toluene-2,5-diamine (2-metyl-p-fenylendiamin, CI 76042) är en aromatisk amin som används som primär mellanprodukt i oxidativa hårfärger. Den är kemiskt besläktad med p-fenylendiamin. CosIng klassar den som hårfärgande ingrediens. I EU omfattas den av en post i bilaga III (ämnen som omfattas av begränsningar), som också kräver varningar på etiketten.
Var det används
Förekommer i permanenta hårfärger och produkter för färgning av ögonfransar.
