About Aquafresh

Aquafresh is a toothpaste and toothbrush brand launched in the United Kingdom in 1973 and now owned by Haleon. It is known for its striped toothpaste: the original design combined blue and white, while today's paste shows red, white and blue stripes. In 2025 the brand added a whitening range called White Renew.

Aquafresh on the label

The 11 Aquafresh products in INCIMondo are toothpastes and mouthwashes. SODIUM FLUORIDE is the most frequent ingredient after water, followed by SODIUM SACCHARIN, AROMA, GLYCERIN and LIMONENE.

Across all 11 formulas, the database records no PARFUM (flavour is listed as AROMA), parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).

Stripes, flavour and fluoride

In toothpaste, AROMA is the flavouring, not a perfume. Newer ranges such as White Renew may not share the formula of the classic striped paste, so compare the ingredient lists rather than the brand name – including the fluoride content in ppm that many packs state.
