About Baby Dove
Baby Dove is Unilever's baby care line under the Dove brand, launched in the United States in 2017 as Dove's first new US category since Dove Men+Care in 2010. The initial range included a baby bar, a head-to-toe wash, wipes, lotion and shampoo. Our 5 entries are baby washes – several labelled Hypoallergenic Wash – a bar and a hypoallergenic lotion.
Mild cleansers, little scent
Baby washes (2), a soap and a baby lotion make up the 5 Baby Dove products. GLYCERIN appears in all 5, then COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, STEARIC ACID and TETRASODIUM EDTA in 4, and SODIUM LAUROYL GLUTAMATE and GLYCOL DISTEARATE in 3.
Only 1 formula declares fragrance (20%), and silicones also appear in 1 (20%). None contains parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Same name, different versions
Several entries share the name 'Hypoallergenic Wash' but were recorded separately, so check the list on your bottle – scented and fragrance-free versions of Baby Dove exist side by side. Labels from different markets may write water as AQUA or WATER.
