About Babyganics

Babyganics is an American baby and family care brand that SC Johnson agreed to acquire in July 2016. Its range spans personal care – skin, bath, oral and sun care – along with insect repellent, hand hygiene, household cleaners, laundry and dish products, nappies and wipes.

Four mineral sunscreens

All 4 Babyganics entries are SPF 50 mineral sunscreens, one of them labelled for kids. They share a seed oil blend: VACCINIUM MACROCARPON SEED OIL (cranberry), SOLANUM LYCOPERSICUM SEED OIL (tomato), CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE and WATER appear in all 4, while RUBUS IDAEUS SEED OIL (raspberry), HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL, GLYCERIN, CETEARYL OLIVATE, BUTYLOCTYL SALICYLATE and SODIUM PHYTATE follow in 3.

None of the 4 declares fragrance, parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).

The filters sit on the drug label

In the US a mineral sunscreen's filters – zinc oxide or titanium dioxide – are listed as active drug ingredients, separately from the inactive list our data comes from, which is why they do not appear above. Check the Drug Facts panel for the filter and its percentage.
