About Nevskaya Kosmetika
Nevskaya Kosmetika (Невская Косметика) is a Russian manufacturer based in Saint Petersburg, founded in 1839 as a stearin candle and soap factory. It now produces more than 340 items, including soaps, toothpastes, cosmetics and household detergents, under brands such as Ushasty Nyan, Sarma, Novy Zhemchug and the long-standing Detskoe ("children's") soap. Products in our database include soaps, liquid soap, children's shampoos, roll-on deodorants and mouthwash, some with labels in other languages.
From the Saint Petersburg factory
Soaps, shampoos and deodorants lead the 10 Nevskaya Kosmetika products we list, which also include liquid soap and mouthwash. PARFUM (8) leads after water, followed by CITRIC ACID (6), SODIUM CHLORIDE (5) and DISODIUM EDTA (5).
Fragrance turns up in 8 formulas (80%) and silicones in 3 (30%). Parabens appear in 1 product (10%); none contains denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Cyrillic packs, Latin INCI
Many packs are printed in Russian, but the ingredient list itself uses INCI names, so it can be read and compared like any other. Products come under several brand names, such as Detskoe soap or Ushasty Nyan; the one paraben-containing item shows a name ending in -PARABEN.
