About Cetaphil
Cetaphil is a skincare line first developed in 1947 in Texas. It is owned by Galderma, a Swiss skin health company that was formerly part of Nestlé. The range focuses on cleansers, bar soap, creams, lotions and moisturisers, and in some markets also includes sun protection such as the Daylong products found in our database.
Cetaphil in numbers
In line with the range's focus, cleansers and make-up removers head Cetaphil's 22 products in INCIMondo, with face care, body care and sun care – such as the Daylong products – behind them. The ingredients seen most often after water are GLYCERIN, PANTHENOL, CITRIC ACID, PHENOXYETHANOL and TOCOPHEROL.
Fragrance is uncommon: only 5 formulas (23%) contain it. Silicones are part of 8 (36%) and parabens of 4 (18%), while none lists denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Before buying Cetaphil
Most Cetaphil products here carry no fragrance ingredients, but a few do, so check for PARFUM if that matters to you. Formulas also change over time, and the list on your pack is the one to go by.
