Silk in every bottle
Our 4 CHI entries are three shampoos – Infra, Keratin and the Aloe Vera Curl Enhancing Shampoo – and a tea tree oil blend conditioner, two of them with Turkish labels. PHENOXYETHANOL, PANTHENOL, HYDROLYZED SILK and AQUA appear in all 4; COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SULFONATE, GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE, GLYCOL DISTEARATE, PARFUM and CITRIC ACID in 3.
Fragrance is declared in 3 formulas (75%) and silicones in 3 (75%). None contains parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Line names and the shared base
CHI's line names – Infra, Keratin, Aloe Vera, Tea Tree – sit on a largely common base of silk protein, panthenol and the surfactant SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SULFONATE. The ingredient named on the front, such as keratin or tea tree oil, appears under its INCI name further down; on Turkish packs, Saç Kremi means conditioner.
