About Cora

Cora is a hypermarket chain that belonged to the Belgian Louis Delhaize group and operated 60 hypermarkets in France. In 2023 Carrefour agreed to acquire the Cora and Match chains in France for an enterprise value of €1.05 billion, with completion expected in 2024. The products in this entry are Cora own-brand hygiene items such as shampoos, shower gels, soaps and deodorants.

Cora's own-brand hygiene

The 19 Cora products in INCIMondo are own-brand hygiene items: hair care, shower gels, deodorants and bar soaps. The top five after water – PARFUM, GLYCERIN, SODIUM CHLORIDE, CITRIC ACID and SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, an anionic surfactant that cleanses and foams – reflect the weight of shampoos and shower gels in the list.

Fragrance ingredients are found in 18 of the 19 formulas, silicones in 4 and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) in 2. No formula contains parabens.

A note on Cora labels

The data here reflect Cora-branded labels as recorded. Since Carrefour agreed in 2023 to acquire Cora's French chains, check the packaging of whatever you actually buy rather than assuming the formula is unchanged.
