About duschdas
duschdas is a German shower care brand marketed by Unilever Deutschland; a 2014 trade report on its Grapefruit küsst Basilikum gel credits Unilever as the company behind it. The current range at drugstore chain Rossmann consists of 225 ml shower gels and 3-in-1 shower gel and shampoo variants such as Noire, For Men and Sport. Our entries include Noire, Sport and a pomegranate (Granatapfel) gel.
Four gels, one formula skeleton
All 4 duschdas products we list are shower gels, and they share a near-identical base: SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, GLYCERIN, SODIUM BENZOATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, CITRIC ACID, PARFUM, LINALOOL and the colourant CI 17200 appear in all 4. LIMONENE, HEXYL CINNAMAL, TETRASODIUM EDTA, CI 19140 and MARIS SAL (sea salt) follow in 3.
Every formula declares fragrance (100%); none contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
What changes between scents
With the base this uniform, the differences between variants sit in the fragrance allergens and colourants near the end of the list – compare LIMONENE, HEXYL CINNAMAL and the CI numbers if you are choosing between scents. SODIUM CHLORIDE and MARIS SAL are both salts; in gels they are commonly used to adjust thickness.
