About Eau Précieuse
Eau Précieuse is a French skin care brand sold in pharmacies and parapharmacies, best known for its purifying lotion; its range for oily and blemish-prone skin includes purifying lotions, cleansing gels and spot treatments. Our 5 entries, with French labels, are Clearskin cleansing gel and purifying lotions, a 'lotion pour application cutanée' and a purifying face and body cleansing gel.
Lotions with a salicylic base
Face lotions (3) and face products (2) make up the 5 Eau Précieuse entries. SALICYLIC ACID and PARFUM appear in all 5, GLYCERIN in 4, and MENTHOL, ALCOHOL, EUCALYPTOL and SODIUM HYDROXIDE in 3.
Every formula declares fragrance (100%). Denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) appears in 2 (40%) and parabens in 1 (20%); none contains silicones.
Two kinds of alcohol
ALCOHOL (ethanol) and ALCOHOL DENAT. (denatured ethanol) are listed separately, and both appear in this small set – a lotion can contain either. MENTHOL and EUCALYPTOL give the fresh feel; EUCALYPTOL is also a fragrance-related substance, so it adds to the scent alongside PARFUM.
