About Eco+

Eco+ is the entry-price (“premier prix”) brand of the French retail group E.Leclerc, launched in 1999. It covers everyday products across many categories, from food and drinks to household, hygiene and personal care items. In our database, Eco+ appears with basic hygiene products such as shower gels, shampoos, shaving foam, hairspray and eau de Cologne.

Basic products, basic ingredients

Eco+ appears in INCIMondo with 14 basic hygiene products – shower gels, hair care, shaving products and fragrances such as eau de Cologne. Its top five ingredients after water read like a cleansing-product blueprint: PARFUM, CITRIC ACID, SODIUM BENZOATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE and SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, an anionic surfactant that cleanses and produces foam.

Fragrance ingredients are in all 14 formulas. Silicones appear in 4 and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) in 2, while parabens are absent.

Reading entry-price labels

In aerosol hairspray and shaving foam, propellants such as BUTANE, PROPANE or ISOBUTANE are listed like ordinary ingredients, often near the top. In shower gels and shampoos, SODIUM CHLORIDE is simply salt used as a thickener.
