About eurodont
eurodont is a toothpaste label sold by the German discounter Aldi; a consumer report on sensitive toothpastes lists Aldi as the seller of Eurodont Sensitive among discounter own brands. Our 4 entries include Coolfresh, a plain Zahnpasta and Eurodont Spezialzahncreme.
Fluoride, twice over
Two of our 4 eurodont entries carry a category tag. SODIUM SACCHARIN, HYDRATED SILICA, AROMA, SORBITOL, AQUA and SODIUM FLUORIDE appear in all 4; SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SULFONATE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, CELLULOSE GUM and LIMONENE in 3; and OLAFLUR, ZINC CHLORIDE, CI 77891 and CI 74160 in 2.
None declares fragrance (PARFUM), parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Two fluoride sources
OLAFLUR is an amine fluoride, so the two products that list it alongside SODIUM FLUORIDE combine two fluoride sources – the fluoride content in ppm is given on the pack, not in the INCI list. CI 74160 is a blue pigment and CI 77891 titanium dioxide, used for stripes and colour.
