About fresh
fresh was founded in 1991 by Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg as an apothecary selling hand-wrapped bars of soap. Its Soy Face Cleanser launched in 1999, and the company was acquired by LVMH shortly afterwards. The range spans body care and skincare; our entries are the Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask, travel sizes of the Soy Face Cleanser and Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash, and a Velvet Luxe vegan body and hand crème.
Ingredient names as product names
Our 4 fresh products carry no category tags. GLYCERIN appears in all 4; BUTYLENE GLYCOL, XANTHAN GUM, PARFUM and LINALOOL in 3; and TOCOPHEROL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, POTASSIUM SORBATE and LIMONENE in 2.
Fragrance is declared in 3 (75%) and silicones in 1 (25%); none contains parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Travel size, same list?
Two of our entries are travel sizes; they usually share the full-size formula, but compare the lists to be sure. The ingredient in a product's name – clay, soy, sugar – is not necessarily the highest in the list, so read its position to see where it sits.
