About happybrush
happybrush is a German oral care company founded in 2015 and listed on the Munich Startup platform, which describes it as a new oral care brand focused on electric toothbrushes. Its range has since grown to include toothpastes. All 5 entries in our database are toothpastes with German labels: Repair & Care, super green, Super black, Super Protect all-in-one and an activated charcoal white paste with vitamin B12.
One base, five colours
Toothpastes account for all 5 happybrush products, and they share a remarkably uniform base: HYDRATED SILICA, AROMA, SODIUM SACCHARIN, SORBITOL, SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SULFONATE, ZINC CHLORIDE and PROPYLENE GLYCOL each appear in all 5.
None declares fragrance (PARFUM), parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Look past the shared base
When seven ingredients are common to every paste, the differences – colourants in the black and green versions, charcoal, the fluoride source – sit further down the list. SODIUM C14-16 OLEFIN SULFONATE is the foaming agent here, used instead of SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE.
