About Hello
Hello is an American oral care brand founded by Craig Dubitsky. Colgate-Palmolive announced an agreement to acquire it in January 2020, when it sold adult and kids' toothpaste, mouth rinse, toothbrushes and floss through US retailers and online. Our 5 entries include an Antiplaque + Whitening toothpaste (one version fluoride-free), a Super Fresh Spearmint toothpaste, a 'Peace out, plaque' mouthwash and a Clean + Fresh deodorant.
Sugar alcohols and coconut
Toothpastes, a mouthwash and a deodorant make up the 5 Hello products. AROMA and XYLITOL appear in 4 each, followed by COCOS NUCIFERA OIL, GLYCERIN, ERYTHRITOL, HYDRATED SILICA and COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE in 3.
Fragrance is declared in 1 formula (20%); toothpastes and mouthwashes normally list flavour as AROMA instead. None contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Fluoride or fluoride-free
Hello sells some toothpastes with and some without fluoride – check for SODIUM FLUORIDE or another fluoride source if that matters to you; the fluoride-free version will list none. XYLITOL and ERYTHRITOL are sweeteners and appear separately from the flavour, AROMA.
