About Les Cosmétiques

Les Cosmétiques is the perfumery and cosmetics own brand of the French retailer Carrefour. In 2009 it already comprised eight lines in Spain – from make-up and hair care to depilation, men's care, fragrance and sun care – with over 300 products. In 2012 Carrefour introduced Les Cosmétiques Design Paris to replace its existing beauty products (listed separately in our database). The entries here, many of them Spanish and French, include shampoos, sun lotions and serums.

Les Cosmétiques: the data

Shampoos, sunscreens and serums are the largest categories among the 43 Les Cosmétiques products we list. After water, PARFUM (38) is the most frequent ingredient, followed by GLYCERIN (35), PANTHENOL (30) and PHENOXYETHANOL (30).

Fragrance is listed in 38 formulas (88%) and silicones in 14 (33%). Denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) appears in 4 (9%); parabens in none.

Labels in several languages

Many of these entries come from Spanish and French shelves, but the INCI list uses the same ingredient names whatever the language of the rest of the pack, so products can be compared directly. Note that the later Les Cosmétiques Design Paris range has its own page, and a product bought in another country may come from a different supplier.
