A cationic film-forming polymer for hair products.
What it is
Polyquaternium-11 is a synthetic cationic copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, quaternised with diethyl sulfate. CosIng lists it as antistatic and film forming.
Where it is used
Found mainly in styling mousses, gels, hairsprays and some conditioners.
