What it is
Poria cocos extract is an extract of the fungus Poria cocos, of the family Polyporaceae, which grows on the roots of pine trees and is known in Chinese as fu ling. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in creams, serums, toners and masks, especially in East Asian cosmetics.
