About Chupa Chups
Chupa Chups is a lollipop brand owned by the Italian-Dutch confectionery group Perfetti Van Melle, which licenses the name for other products, including cosmetics. In 2023, for example, the beauty division of C&A Brazil launched a licensed Chupa Chups bath and body range. The licensee behind the body sprays in our database is not named in our data; their labels are in Turkish.
Four flavours, one aerosol base
All 4 entries are 150 ml women's deodorant body sprays named after lollipop flavours – Lemon Sorbet, Tutti Frutti, Cheeky Cherry and Strawberry Swirl. BUTANE, PROPANE, ALCOHOL DENAT. and PARFUM appear in all 4, and ISOBUTANE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL and ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN in 3. Individual fragrance substances such as CITRUS LIMON PEEL OIL, ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE or LIMONENE each appear in just 1.
Fragrance and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) are in every formula (100%). None contains parabens or silicones.
Reading an aerosol list
In a spray can the propellants BUTANE, PROPANE and ISOBUTANE make up a large share, so they lead the list and push everything else down. Each flavour declares its own set of fragrance allergens – lemon notes bring LIMONENE, others bring ionones or GERANIOL – so compare the specific scent rather than the range.
