About Crest
Crest is an American toothpaste and oral care brand made by Procter & Gamble. Developed with researchers at Indiana University around a stannous fluoride formula, it appeared in 1954 as 'Fluoristan', went into test markets as Crest in 1955 and launched nationally in January 1956. In much of Europe, P&G sells comparable products as Blend-a-med or Oral-B; 3D White is one of Crest's eight toothpaste lines.

AROMA, SORBITOL and WATER appear in all 4; SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE, HYDRATED SILICA, SODIUM SACCHARIN, POLOXAMER 407, CARBOMER, TITANIUM DIOXIDE and SODIUM HYDROXIDE in 3.
Denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) is listed in 1 product (25%). None declares fragrance (PARFUM), parabens or silicones.
Fluoride on the Drug Facts panel
US Crest pastes print the fluoride – sodium fluoride or stannous fluoride – as the active ingredient on the Drug Facts panel, so it may not appear in the inactive list our data reflects. Breath drops are a different format from toothpaste; TITANIUM DIOXIDE in the pastes is a white colourant, and SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE the foaming agent.
