About Dermika

Dermika is a Polish skin care brand founded in 1993 by Jolanta Zwolińska, about ten years after she had established Soraya. In 2010 the Swedish company Cederroth AB, which already owned Soraya, acquired 100% of Dermika. The brand concentrates on face creams, especially anti-ageing and lipid-rich formulas; lines visible in our database include Mesotherapist, Re.Visage and Lipid Intelligence.

What goes into a Dermika cream

Face creams are the main category among the 111 Dermika products we list, and the preservative PHENOXYETHANOL (109) appears in almost all of them. After water it is followed by GLYCERIN (93), PARFUM (79) and TOCOPHEROL (76).

Silicones feature in 67 formulas (60%), in keeping with the brand's lipid-rich creams. Fragrance is declared in 79 (71%), parabens in 18 (16%), and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) in just 1 (<1%).

Comparing the lines

Mesotherapist, Re.Visage and Lipid Intelligence are built differently, so compare creams line by line rather than treating Dermika as one formula. Parabens are listed under names ending in -PARABEN, e.g. METHYLPARABEN or PROPYLPARABEN.
