About Dr. Squatch
Dr. Squatch is an American men's grooming brand founded in 2013, known for natural-positioned bar soaps and later body washes, deodorants, hair care and skin care. In June 2025 Unilever agreed to acquire the brand from the investment firm Summit Partners. The products in our database include Fresh Falls and Wood Barrel Bourbon items, a Fresh Falls deodorant, a men's moisturising lotion and a vanilla bourbon lip balm.
Coconut and butters
Body wash (2), skin lotion and lip balm are among the categories of the 5 Dr. Squatch products. CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, COCOS NUCIFERA OIL (coconut oil), GLYCERIN and XANTHAN GUM appear in 3 each, with TOCOPHEROL, CITRIC ACID and BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER in 2.
Fragrance is declared in 3 formulas (60%); none contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Scent names versus PARFUM
Names like Wood Barrel Bourbon describe the scent, but the label shows whether it comes from PARFUM or from essential oils listed by botanical name. A lip balm and a body wash differ in format, so compare products of the same type.
