About Golden Rose

Golden Rose is a Turkish colour cosmetics brand of Erkul Kozmetik, founded in 1983, which produces in Istanbul and exports to more than 90 countries. Its range includes nail polish, lipstick, mascara, eyeshadow, blush, foundation and lip gloss; the company also owns the Classics, Miss Selene and Emily brands. Our 5 entries are a make-up fixing spray, two City Color nail lacquers, a matte lipstick crayon and an Iconic blush duo.

Pigments in the lead

Make-up (4) and a pressed powder blush make up the 5 Golden Rose products. The top of the ranking is all colour: titanium dioxide CI 77891, the iron oxides CI 77499, CI 77491 and CI 77492, the red dyes CI 15850 and CI 19140 (yellow), TIN OXIDE and MICA appear in 4 each.

Fragrance and silicones appear in 1 formula each (20%); there are no parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).

CI numbers by shade

CI numbers identify colourants: 77891 is titanium dioxide, 77491, 77492 and 77499 are iron oxides. Nail lacquers and lip crayons are sold in many numbered shades, and a '+/-' or 'may contain' list can name pigments that are not in yours – check the specific shade.
