About INGU
INGU is a Thai skin care brand and, according to the Thai business press, one of the first Thai brands to develop "biome balance" skin care using prebiotics and postbiotics. Its flagship is a three-step Essential Series marketed for all skin types, especially sensitive skin, and the brand has promoted a minimalist routine through a "Stop Skincare Overdose" campaign. Products in our database include a green tea calming cream, serums, an anti-acne gel and tinted tri-peptide lip balms with SPF.
INGU's minimalist formulas
Face creams, serums and lip balms make up the 10 INGU products we list. GLYCERIN appears in all 10, followed by PHENOXYETHANOL (9), PROPANEDIOL (7) and CERAMIDE AP (6).
None of the 10 lists fragrance (PARFUM), which fits the brand's sensitive-skin positioning. Silicones appear in 3 (30%); parabens and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) in none.
Unscented, and SPF on the lips
To confirm that a product is unscented, check for PARFUM and AROMA as well as named fragrance substances such as LIMONENE or LINALOOL. The tinted tri-peptide lip balms carry SPF, so their UV filters appear under INCI names such as ETHYLHEXYL SALICYLATE or OCTOCRYLENE.
