About L'Arbre Vert
L'Arbre Vert is a French brand of ecological household cleaning and personal hygiene products made by Novamex, a company created in 1986 and based in Les Taillades near Cavaillon (Vaucluse). Since 2015 Novamex has been owned by the Italian family group Sodalis. In 2007 L'Arbre Vert became the first European brand to obtain the EU Ecolabel in the soap and shampoo category.
L'Arbre Vert's hygiene products
Alongside household cleaning, L'Arbre Vert makes personal hygiene products; INCIMondo lists 12 of them, mainly shower gels, hair care and deodorants. CITRIC ACID tops the ingredient list after water, followed by PARFUM, SODIUM BENZOATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE and GLYCERIN.
Fragrance ingredients appear in 11 of the 12 formulas and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) in 1. Parabens and silicones are absent from all of them.
Ecolabel and ingredient list
An ecolabel and an ingredient list answer different questions. For the composition itself – whether a shower gel contains PARFUM, for example, or which surfactants it uses – the INCI list on the bottle is the place to look.
