About Ministerstwo Dobrego Mydła

Ministerstwo Dobrego Mydła ("Ministry of Good Soap") is a Polish cosmetics brand founded in 2014 by the sisters Ania and Ula Bieluń. It began with handmade soap, and production and distribution are based in Szczecin. The range has since grown into mostly natural cosmetics, including bath bombs, body and face oils and lip care; product names usually follow a scent or key ingredient, such as Rose-Raspberry, Honey or Banana.

From the soap workshop

Soaps, bath products and lip balms lead the 93 products of this Szczecin brand, which began with handmade soap. The oil-based character shows in the ranking: PARFUM (68) and GLYCERIN (64) come first, followed by TOCOPHEROL (59) and HELIANTHUS ANNUUS SEED OIL (58).

Fragrance is declared in 68 formulas (73%). Parabens, silicones and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) do not appear in any of them.

How soap is labelled

A bar of soap can be listed in two ways: as saponified oils such as SODIUM OLIVATE or SODIUM COCOATE, or as the original oils plus SODIUM HYDROXIDE. Both describe the same chemistry, so don't read a different-looking list as a different kind of product. Plant ingredients appear under Latin names, and an asterisk usually marks certified-organic ones.
