About Mixa

Mixa is a French skin care brand founded in 1924 by a pharmacist, Dr Roger. It is now part of L'Oréal's Consumer Products Division and presents itself as "the sensitive skin expert", with products for different types of sensitive skin. According to L'Oréal, Mixa is the leading body care brand in France by sales volume. Products in our database include urea and cica repair body milks, baby shampoo and sun care, including a tinted SPF 50+ cream.

Mixa's sensitive-skin range

Body lotions, baby care products and sunscreens lead the 10 Mixa products we list, among them urea and cica repair body milks and a tinted SPF 50+ cream. GLYCERIN (9) is the most frequent ingredient after water, followed by PARFUM (6), CITRIC ACID (6) and ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER (6).

Fragrance and silicones each appear in 6 formulas (60%). Denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) is listed in 3 (30%) and parabens in 1 (10%).

Choosing within a 'sensitive' range

A sensitive-skin positioning does not mean every product is unscented: four of the ten carry no fragrance, so check for PARFUM on the specific pack. Urea appears on the list as UREA, and the one product with parabens can be spotted by a name ending in -PARABEN.
