About Nocibé
Nocibé is a French perfumery and beauty retail chain founded in 1984, which had 455 stores in France when the German perfumery group Douglas moved to acquire it in 2013. The products in our database are the chain's own-label items, with French names.
Bath fizzers and treats
Bubble bath products account for 4 of the 7 Nocibé entries – effervescent bath fizzers with names such as Je suis Gourmande (cherry almond), J'ai du Peps ! (mango passion) and Je suis Romantique (lychee redcurrant) – alongside a silky lip balm, a soothing cotton-flower and liquorice mask and a body cream. PARFUM appears in all 7; CI 77891, MONOSODIUM CITRATE and CITRIC ACID in 5; and HYDRATED SILICA, TALC, SODIUM BICARBONATE, LIMONENE, SUCROSE and MALTODEXTRIN in 4.
Fragrance is declared in every formula (100%). None contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
How a bath fizzer works on paper
Effervescent bath products contain no water: their lists are led by SODIUM BICARBONATE and an acid such as CITRIC ACID, which react when dropped into the bath, plus powders like TALC or MALTODEXTRIN. CI 77891 (titanium dioxide) and other CI numbers give the fizzers their colour.
