About Omia
Omia (Omia Laboratoires) is a skin, hair and body care brand in the personal care portfolio of the Italian Bolton Group. According to Bolton, the brand evolved from 'Eco-Bio' laboratories into 'Biotech' laboratories and develops all its products with biotechnology, using cosmetic actives of natural origin. Our entries have Italian labels: two Intimo washes at pH 3.5 and 4.5, an aloe vera hand cream and an organic children's sun milk.
Intimate care, hands and sun
Only the sun milk carries a category tag among our 4 Omia products. PARFUM, TOCOPHEROL and AQUA appear in all 4; GLYCERIN, TETRASODIUM GLUTAMATE DIACETATE and CITRIC ACID in 3; and CITRONELLOL, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE and ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF EXTRACT in 2 each.
All 4 declare fragrance (100%); none contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
pH on the label
The '3.5' and '4.5' in the Intimo names describe the product's pH, not an ingredient amount – the INCI list itself gives no figures. Preservatives vary across the set (PHENOXYETHANOL, SODIUM BENZOATE, BENZOIC ACID and POTASSIUM SORBATE each appear in 2), so check the specific product if you track preservatives.
