About Vendôme
Laboratoires Vendôme is a French body care brand historically known for hypoallergenic, pH-neutral shower gels and, from the 1990s, for surgras soaps sold in mass retail. La Phocéenne de Cosmétique bought it from the Bolton group in spring 2023 and brought development and production fully back to France, after manufacturing in Poland and Italy under Bolton; in 2024 it relaunched the range as CALM V+, NUTRI V+ and REPAR V+. Our entries include a shea butter product, a soap-free dermatological bar, a soothing face moisturiser and a micellar shower gel with apricot oil.
Gentle washing, everything scented
Shower gel and body cream are tagged among our 4 Vendôme products. GLYCERIN and PARFUM appear in all 4; AQUA and CITRIC ACID in 3; and SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, POLYQUATERNIUM-7, SODIUM BENZOATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE and PRUNUS ARMENIACA KERNEL OIL (apricot) in 2.
All 4 declare fragrance (100%) and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) appears in 1 (25%); none contains parabens or silicones.
'Sans savon' is a technical term
A 'pain sans savon' (soap-free bar) uses synthetic surfactants such as SODIUM LAUROAMPHOACETATE or TRISODIUM SULFOSUCCINATE instead of saponified oils – it looks like soap but is formulated differently. Since the 2024 relaunch renamed the lines, older packs may carry different formulas; check the list on the version you buy.
