About Wibo

Wibo is a Polish family-owned colour cosmetics company founded in 1989 by Jadwiga Adamczak and her husband. It started out with nail polish and now offers well over a hundred make-up lines, from mascaras and eyeliners to primers and highlighters; the company also owns the Lovely brand and manufactures private-label products for other companies. Product names in our database such as Boom Boom, Slash Liner or Primer Base reflect this make-up focus.

Inside the Wibo make-up bag

Make-up and nail polish make up the 137 Wibo products we list, so pigments feature prominently in the ingredient count. After water, the preservative PHENOXYETHANOL (107) comes first, followed by titanium dioxide CI 77891 (65), ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN (56) and the black iron oxide CI 77499 (55).

Fragrance is uncommon: 21 formulas (15%) declare it. Silicones appear in 40 products (29%), parabens in 13 (9%) and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) in 7 (5%).

Shades and scent

For mascaras, liners and primers, the '+/-' or 'may contain' block covers pigments across all shades, not just yours. If you want a product without fragrance, make sure neither PARFUM nor AROMA appears and that no fragrance substances such as LIMONENE or LINALOOL are listed – most Wibo formulas pass that check, but not all.
