Our review

A minimalist, fragrance-free micellar water with a very short ingredient list. Good for everyday makeup removal; heavy waterproof makeup needs more effort.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo shows a clear plastic bottle with a pink flip-top cap and a “Sensitive skin” band; this is the 400 ml (13.5 fl oz) size. The manufacturer says the bottle is made from recycled plastic. It is a no-rinse cleanser and makeup remover for face, eyes and lips, applied with a cotton pad. This entry describes the US version; EU versions may have a different formula.

Ingredient analysis

After water come hexylene glycol (a solvent) and glycerin (a humectant). The cleaning work is done by mild surfactants: poloxamer 184, a non-ionic surfactant that forms micelles, and disodium cocoamphodiacetate, an amphoteric surfactant derived from coconut fatty acids. Disodium EDTA binds metal ions, and myrtrimonium bromide, a quaternary ammonium compound, supports preservation.

What to watch out for

There is no fragrance and no labelled fragrance allergens. Myrtrimonium bromide belongs to the alkyltrimethylammonium salts that are regulated in the EU as preservatives (see the EU regulation section on its page). Because micellar water is not rinsed off, people with very reactive skin may prefer to rinse with water afterwards.

What users say

On GoPicky the product had an average of 4.6 from 162 reviews when we checked on 30 October 2026, and the manufacturer's US site also shows 4.6. Reviewers praise the gentleness, the watery feel without a sticky film and the lack of fragrance. The most common reservation is that waterproof makeup takes several cotton pads; the manufacturer itself suggests double cleansing for long-wear makeup and sunscreen.

Who it may suit

People who want a simple, fragrance-free first cleansing step, including those with sensitive skin. For heavy or waterproof makeup, a bi-phase remover or an oil cleanser may be quicker.
