Packaging and what the product is

The wibo.pl photo shows a mint-green squeeze tube with a black screw cap, the boxed “wibo” logo and the words “PRIMER BASE – silicone make up base”. Retailers list it as 15 g. It is a leave-on primer applied in a thin layer over skincare and under foundation.

Ingredient analysis

The formula is essentially anhydrous silicones: cyclopentasiloxane (a volatile silicone that evaporates and leaves a silky film) and isododecane as carriers, followed by dimethicone crosspolymer, dimethicone, phenyl trimethicone and dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, which create the smoothing, pore-blurring gel. Silica adds a mattifying touch.

There are no water-based or skincare actives and no preservative is needed in such a water-free formula. The rest of the list is fragrance: parfum with linalool, benzyl salicylate, citronellol, hexyl cinnamal, hydroxycitronellal, geraniol and alpha-isomethyl ionone.

What to watch out for

Seven EU-labelled fragrance allergens are listed, which is a lot for a facial base worn all day. Cyclopentasiloxane (D5) is covered by an EU REACH restriction on cyclic siloxanes adopted in 2024 and being phased in for cosmetics, so the current label may differ from our list. Silicone-heavy primers can combine poorly with water-based foundations, and some users with breakout-prone skin prefer to avoid such occlusive layers.

Ratings differ by platform: Wizaż shows 3.3/5 from 118 ratings, Rossmann 4.59/5 from 54 reviews (both checked 30 Oct 2026). Fans describe a light, gel-like silicone texture that spreads easily, smooths and fills pores, makes foundation glide on more evenly and, for some, keeps make-up in place longer – good value for a drugstore primer.

Critics report that foundation pilled, separated or looked patchy on top of it, especially if applied too soon; several with combination or oily skin saw no longer wear and still got shiny in the T-zone. Others mention the small 15 ml tube running out fast, a scent they disliked, a heavy silicone feel or concern about clogging. One reviewer summed it up as working visually but not a game changer.

Who it may suit

Normal to combination skin looking for a cheap smoothing base under silicone-based foundations. Very oily or breakout-prone skin, and anyone sensitive to fragrance, may prefer another primer.
