Vad det är
p-Phenylenediamine HCl är bensen-1,4-diamin-dihydroklorid, ett salt av p-fenylendiamin (PPD), en aromatisk amin som används som oxidativt färgförstadium; som färgämne har den Colour Index-numret CI 76060. I CosIng listas den som hårfärgande ingrediens. I EU omfattas den av poster i bilaga III (ämnen som omfattas av begränsningar) för oxidativa hårfärgningsprodukter och för produkter avsedda för färgning av ögonfransar, med obligatoriska varningstexter på etiketten.
