About Fitomed

Fitomed is a Polish cosmetics manufacturer registered in Warsaw; the current company, Fitomed Sp. z o.o., was incorporated in 2011. Its products are herbal skin care, and the product names in our database are typically built around one plant – soapwort (Mydlnica lekarska), liquorice, sage and calendula or jasmine – in creams, toners, cleansing gels, make-up removing milks and body balms, often sold by weight in grams.

Fitomed's herbal formulas

Each Fitomed product tends to be built around one plant, and the 39 we list are mostly face creams, toners and body lotions. The supporting ingredients are consistent: after water come ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN (37), GLYCERIN (36), BENZYL ALCOHOL (27) and PARFUM (26).

Scent features in 26 formulas (67%). There are no parabens and no silicones, and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) appears in just 1 (3%).

Matching the name to the list

Fitomed's product names highlight a single herb – soapwort, liquorice, sage, calendula or jasmine – but on the label that plant appears under its Latin botanical name, such as CALENDULA OFFICINALIS FLOWER EXTRACT. Its position in the list gives a rough idea of how prominent it is.
