About Harry's

Harry's is an American men's grooming company founded in 2013 by Andy Katz-Mayfield and Jeff Raider, who also co-founded Warby Parker. It began with razors and expanded into shower and face care, and also launched Flamingo, a razor brand for women. Our entries are a Post-Shave Balm, a Texturizing Putty, a Redwood odour control deodorant and a Brightening Eye Cream.

Beyond the razor

Only the eye cream carries a category tag among our 4 Harry's products. SODIUM HYDROXIDE appears in all 4; GLYCERIN, PARFUM, LIMONENE, PHENOXYETHANOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN and AQUA in 3; and DIMETHICONE, AMMONIUM ACRYLOYLDIMETHYLTAURATE/VP COPOLYMER, ZINGIBER OFFICINALE ROOT EXTRACT (ginger) and BISABOLOL in 2.

Fragrance is declared in 3 (75%) and silicones in 2 (50%); none contains parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).

pH adjusters and scent

SODIUM HYDROXIDE in every product is typically a small pH adjuster, often used to neutralise thickening polymers, not a sign of a soap. Three of the four are scented, matching the brand's named fragrances such as Redwood – if you layer balm, deodorant and styling product, the scents add up.
