About Mildeen
Mildeen is a personal care label sold by the discounter Aldi; Stiftung Warentest already listed Aldi (Nord) as the provider of a Mildeen product in a 2006 test of shower baths for sensitive skin. Our entries carry French labels: a fig shower gel, a smoothing care shampoo, a Pure Basic 24h roll-on deodorant and a shower care with orange oil and glacier water.
Shower basics and one roll-on
Shower gels, a shampoo and a roll-on deodorant make up the 4 Mildeen products we list. PARFUM, CITRIC ACID and AQUA appear in all 4; SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, GLYCERIN, COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE, SODIUM CHLORIDE and SODIUM BENZOATE in 3; and LAURETH-4, LIMONENE, LINALOOL, GLYCOL DISTEARATE, FORMIC ACID, PROPYLENE GLYCOL and POLYQUATERNIUM-7 in 2.
All 4 declare fragrance (100%) and 1 lists silicones (25%); none contains parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Pearly gels and a smoothing shampoo
GLYCOL DISTEARATE gives shower gels and shampoos a pearly shine, and POLYQUATERNIUM-7 adds a conditioning feel – both are about texture rather than cleansing. The single silicone entry most plausibly belongs to the smoothing (soin lisse) shampoo; check its list if you prefer silicone-free hair care.
