About Vianek

Vianek is one of the brands of Sylveco, a Polish manufacturer of natural personal care products that has been growing since 2008; its other brands are Sylveco and Biolaven. The company describes its approach as pairing dermocosmetic ingredients with herbal raw materials grown in Poland. Vianek products cover face, body and hair care.

Vianek's formulas at a glance

Face care heads Vianek's 439 entries in INCIMondo, with body care, hair care, hand creams and deodorants behind it. The ingredient shortlist, water aside, reads PARFUM, GLYCERIN, PANTHENOL, SODIUM BENZOATE and BENZYL ALCOHOL; the last of these works as a preservative and can also belong to a fragrance.

None of the 439 formulas lists parabens, and silicones appear only once (<1%). Denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) is almost as scarce, at 7 formulas (2%). Fragrance is the exception to this pared-back picture: 340 formulas (77%) contain it.

Before you pick a Vianek product

“Natural” is the company's own description: EU cosmetics law does not define the term, so the ingredient list is the more precise guide. If you prefer unscented care, check each product individually – most Vianek formulas contain fragrance, but not all.
