A vinyl-functional silicone used as a viscosity-controlling agent.
What it is
Vinyl dimethicone is a dimethylpolysiloxane in which some methyl groups are replaced by vinyl groups, including at the chain ends. CosIng lists it as a viscosity-controlling ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in creams, primers, foundations and other products with a silicone base.
Limits of interpretation
