Our review

A fragrance-free, mid-weight moisturiser combining glycerin, light emollients and shea butter with a long list of hyaluronic acid forms. The small number of reviews we found are very positive about hydration and texture; a few find it unremarkable.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo on isntree.com shows a white squeeze tube with a broad diagonal cobalt-blue band and a clear cap, labelled “Hyaluronic Acid Moist Cream”; it holds 100 ml. It is a face moisturiser positioned as the richer option in Isntree’s hyaluronic acid line, next to a lighter aqua gel cream.

Ingredient analysis

Water and glycerin lead, followed by hydrogenated polydecene and caprylic/capric triglyceride (light emollients), dipropylene glycol, cyclohexasiloxane (a volatile silicone that gives slip) and shea butter. Emulsifiers and fatty alcohols such as polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate, cetyl and behenyl alcohol shape the cream, and betaine adds moisture.

Plant extracts (kelp, eclipta, oat, artichoke), apricot, argan and safflower oils and green tea water appear in the middle. The hyaluronic acid story covers around ten forms – sodium hyaluronate, hydrolysed, cross-linked, acetylated and silanol variants – mostly towards the end of the list. There is no fragrance; 1,2-hexanediol, hydroxyacetophenone and ethylhexylglycerin replace classic preservatives.

What to watch out for

No parfum and no labelled fragrance allergens. Cyclohexasiloxane (D6) falls under an EU REACH restriction on the cyclic siloxanes D4, D5 and D6 that will also apply to leave-on cosmetics, so formulas may change. The many hyaluronic acid forms are mainly a hydration feature; the number of forms says little about how the cream will perform.

On LOOKFANTASTIC the cream has 4.875/5 from 8 reviews (checked 31 Oct 2026). Users with dry, combination and even oily skin describe good hydration without a greasy look, a dewy glow, quick absorption, no pilling under make-up and no stinging on sensitive days; one says it is the only cream that does not cause breakouts on their nose.

The reservations are mild: one reviewer finds it nice but not game-changing, and another thinks the ingredients are unremarkable for the price, while still praising the dewy finish.

Who it may suit

People with normal, dry or combination skin who want a simple, fragrance-free daily moisturiser that works under make-up or alongside retinoids. Those expecting visible anti-ageing effects may find it too basic.
