Our review

A fragrance-free soothing cream with zinc oxide, copper and zinc sulfates and Centella-derived compounds; users mostly praise it for irritated skin but some find the texture pasty.

Packaging and what the product is

The photo shows the 100 ml tube of Cicabio crème, a repairing and soothing cream for irritated or damaged skin.

Ingredient analysis

Water and glycerin are followed by the emollient ethylhexyl palmitate and fructooligosaccharides. Zinc oxide gives the cream its slightly opaque, protective character. Copper sulfate and zinc sulfate are classic ingredients in repairing creams. Asiaticoside, asiatic acid and madecassic acid are compounds from Centella asiatica; sodium hyaluronate, mannitol, xylitol and rhamnose support hydration. Potassium sorbate is the preservative and there is no perfume.

What to watch out for

There are no fragrance allergens in the list. Polyacrylamide is used as a thickener; EU rules limit residual acrylamide in such raw materials. The zinc oxide base can leave a slight white film. For wounds, burns or skin conditions, follow medical advice.

What users say

An aggregated summary on Looria based on 61 reviews describes reception as mixed: users like it for soothing redness, small cuts and dryness, while complaints mention a pasty texture, separation on damp skin and breakouts in some people. Older reviews on Beautylish (6 reviews) are mostly positive about calming irritated, reactive skin. We do not quote a single average rating.

Who it may suit

People who want a simple, fragrance-free cream for occasional irritation or dry patches. Those prone to breakouts may find it too occlusive for daily use on the whole face.
