About Bioderma

Bioderma is a French dermocosmetics brand founded in 1977 by Jean-Noël Thorel and headquartered in Aix-en-Provence. Its products are organised into skin-type ranges such as Créaline, Atoderm, Sébium, Hydrabio, Cicabio and ABCDerm, together with the Photoderm sun care line.

A sugar-heavy ingredient list

Bioderma's 31 products in INCIMondo span face care, cleansers and make-up removers, sun care and body care – ground covered by ranges such as Créaline, Hydrabio and Photoderm. Its most frequent ingredients after water stand out: MANNITOL and XYLITOL, both sugar alcohols used as humectants, ahead of GLYCERIN, FRUCTOOLIGOSACCHARIDES and RHAMNOSE.

Fragrance ingredients are present in 15 formulas (48%) and silicones in 6 (19%). None of the 31 contains parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).

Navigating Bioderma's ranges

Bioderma organises its products into skin-type ranges, so it helps to compare within one range – Sébium or Atoderm, say – rather than across the brand. Fragrance is present in roughly half the formulas, so the list is the place to check whether a given product contains PARFUM.
