Our review

An emulsifying cleansing oil made from sunflower, sweet almond, jojoba and grape seed oils with a mild emulsifier, vitamin E and a sweet, vanilla-citrus fragrance. All 30 reviews on the brand’s own shop give five stars and praise make-up removal and the scent; independent reviews were not found, and one buyer found the fragrance too sweet.

Packaging and what the product is

The quoted photo from veolibotanica.pl shows a clear bottle with a white pump dispenser and a white label reading “veoli botanica – odżywczy olejek do demakijażu – MAXI CARE OIL.” The shop lists 150 ml. It is a cleansing oil for the first step of double cleansing: massaged onto dry skin to dissolve make-up (the brand says including waterproof) and sunscreen, then emulsified with water and rinsed off. The brand says it was created in collaboration with the creator Maxineczka.

Ingredient analysis

The base is Helianthus Annuus Hybrid Oil (high-oleic sunflower oil), followed by Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate – the emulsifier that lets the oil turn milky and rinse off with water. Sweet almond, jojoba and grape seed oils add further emollient lipids, and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E ester) is included. The brand states 99% ingredients of natural origin.

The rest of the list is fragrance: parfum, vanillin, Citrus Aurantium peel oil and dimethyl phenethyl acetate, with linalool and limonene declared as allergens. Being water-free, the formula needs no conventional preservative.

What to watch out for

Linalool and limonene are EU-declarable fragrance allergens, and citrus peel oils can irritate sensitive skin, so people reactive to fragrance should patch-test. As with any cleansing oil, avoid getting it in the eyes and rinse thoroughly. The bottle should be kept dry inside – water getting into a cleansing oil can start the emulsifying process in the bottle. Those with a nut allergy should note the sweet almond oil.

What users say

The only ratings we found are on the brand’s own shop: 5.00/5 from 30 reviews, every displayed review marked as confirmed by purchase (checked 30 Oct 2026). Most are short. Buyers praise effective removal of make-up and sunscreen, easy emulsifying and rinsing, soft skin afterwards, a pleasant scent and suitability for facial massage; one says it does not sting the eyes and another says it works for very dry skin.

Even among these five-star reviews, one buyer found the scent too sweet and another was surprised by the plastic bottle and asked for a glass version. No independent reviews (Wizaż, retailers) were found, so the picture is limited.

Who it may suit

People who double-cleanse and want a fragranced, plant-oil cleanser that rinses clean, including those with dry or normal skin. Anyone sensitive to perfume or citrus oils, or who prefers fragrance-free cleansers, may want to choose something else.
