Our review

A simple, vegan hand cream from Ziaja’s “Naturalnie pielęgnujemy” line, built on canola oil, shea butter and olive oil. Users like that it absorbs quickly, is inexpensive and smells pleasant; most agree it suits everyday use rather than very dry or cracked hands.

Packaging and what the product is

The ziaja.com photo shows a translucent, frosted squeeze tube with a peach-toned label reading “Ziaja naturalnie pielęgnujemy – krem do rąk”, placed next to a laboratory flask of golden oil, in the line’s minimalist “natural ingredients” styling. Retailers list it as a 75 ml tube; reviewers mention a snap-shut cap and that the see-through tube shows how much is left. The brand describes it as vegan with 99% ingredients of natural origin.

Ingredient analysis

After water come the emollients octyldodecanol and canola oil, then cetyl alcohol and glyceryl stearate citrate as the emulsifying and thickening system. Shea butter, glycerin and olive oil follow, so the formula relies on plant lipids plus one classic humectant; there is no urea, panthenol or similar additional moisturiser.

Xanthan gum and carbomer adjust the texture, sodium hydroxide neutralises the carbomer, and preservation uses sodium benzoate supported by hydroxyacetophenone, an antioxidant that also boosts preservation. Fragrance is present, with terpineol, citral and limonene listed.

What to watch out for

Citral and limonene are fragrance allergens that EU rules require to be named on the label; limonene can become more sensitising when it oxidises in old, opened products. Otherwise the list is short and contains no particularly controversial ingredients. Anyone with a known fragrance allergy should patch-test or choose an unscented cream.

What users say

On Wizaż the cream has 4.4/5 from 32 ratings and on Rossmann 4.68/5 from 74 reviews (both checked 30 Oct 2026). Typical praise: it absorbs quickly, leaves no greasy film for most people, softens hands, smells subtle and pleasant, and costs little, so some keep tubes at home, at work and in the car.

The main reservation is strength: several reviewers call the moisturising effect moderate and say it is not a rescue cream for very dry or cracked hands. One self-described cosmetology student found it greasier and slower to absorb than expected and felt the effect disappeared after washing, recommending a thick layer overnight instead. Another had grown tired of the scent shared across the line.

Who it may suit

People with normal or slightly dry hands who want an inexpensive, quick-absorbing everyday cream with a short, plant-based ingredient list. Very dry, chapped hands may need something richer, and fragrance-sensitive users should note the scent.
